Live Auditions

Contestant may audition at any of the selected city sites. Auditions will be conducted under "first come - first served" basis. Everyone will be permitted to audition as long as they are roughly "age-range appropriate" to a specific part.

Contestant will prepare a thirty second monologue, which will be videotaped at the audition session. Either, dramatic or comedic monologue is acceptable.

Contestant will submit an 8x10 or 5x7 headshot. If contestant DOES NOT have a headshot, a digital headshot will be taken at the time of the audition for submission purposes.

Contestant interview and monologue will be posted on a "contestant profile" page and issued a "contestant number".

Online Auditions

Contestant, if unable to attend an audition session in person, may submit an audition packet online.

Contestant will be required to submit an entry form through the NextHotMovieStar.com website.

Contestant entry form must include a low resolution headshot and full-length photo; maximum 300x240 pixels.

Contestant entry form must include a: a headhot, thirty second audition video, and a thirty second dramatic or comedic monologue video. Creativity is encouraged.

Contestant may be required to submit other short videos during the audition process.

Contestant Requirements

Contestant will be required to have an active MySpace.com or Facebook.com account

Contestant will be required to post the I'm America's Next Hot Movie Star - Vote For Me!!! graphic on his/her MySpace.com or Facebook com account. This graphic (as seen below) will be placed prominently "above the fold" on contestant's MySpace or Facebook home page. (the code is available in the frequently asked questions area)

Contestant will be required to recruit a minimum of twenty-five (25) unique votes, in order to QUALIFY for to the TOP 100. (A unique vote is defined as: A voter in the competition must register through the NEXTHOTMOVIESTAR.COM website.

Voter Requirements

Each voter must be unique; providing a verifiable name, address, city, state, and email address. This means one voting email address per individual.

("UNIQUE" meaning one voter can not serve as unique, qualifying voter for more than one contestant. It does not prohibit you from voting for others as you wish after your initial entry.)

Judging

Voters and a panel of three judges will select the TOP 100 CONTESTANTS by NOV 1, 2009.

The TOP 100 CONTESTANTS will be invited to Hollywood to audition for the 3 male and 3 female leading roles, in the independent film Last Chance Grill.

The FINAL 36 CONTESTANTS will be selected from THE TOP 100 by our voter regeistrants an a panel of judges; The Producer, Director, and Casting Director of the film.

The six winning contestants will be selected by the voters and the judges.

Additional Contestant Requirements

Contestant agrees individually, and on behalf of his/her heirs, representatives, agents, successors, executors, administrators and assignees, to the following Rules Of Competition, regarding the web-based acting competition, America's Next Hot Movie Star.

Contestant will carry a valid driver's license, non-driver identification card, or passport at all times during the course of the competition.

Contestant will arrive at least 30 minutes prior to all scheduled auditions and performances.

Contestant will treat all persons associated with America's Next Hot Movie Star, including but not limited to its Producers and fellow Contestants, with courtesy and respect.

Contestant will comply with all reasonable requests of America's Next Hot Movie Star during its development, production, and distribution.

Contestant agrees to keep everything associated with America's Next Hot Movie Star development, production, and distribution confidential. Disclosure of confidential activities may result in the disqualification and/or liability for damages.

Contestant will not engage in illegal activity during the course of the development, production, or distribution of America's Next Hot Movie Star.

Failure to comply with these Rules and Regulations or any portion of the Contestant Agreement may result in disqualification.

Failure to execute the Contestant Application truthfully may result in disqualification.

The decisions of America's Next Hot Movie Star, it's creators, producers, employees, agents, assignees and successors are final and can not be challenged in any court of law or other forum.
