We officially, unofficially, opened our talent search this weekend, with auditions in Tucson, Arizona. And, it was just a pleasure to see the turnout - the eager faces - the hunger to chase a dream.

I've been in this business for a long time, and I never tire of, and am always inspired by the look in the eye of someone following a passion.

Pursuing an acting career is not necessarily fun. Mostly, due to the audition process. It blows.

There's the waiting in traffic to get there. There's the waiting in the hallway to audition. There's the embarassment of the sweaty palm, that is absolutely uncontrollable.

Why the hell do we put ourselves thru that?

Simple. Because our lives are more enriched, wading thru this process. Any pursuit, powered by a passion, is a pursuit worthwhile.

Thank you, all, for reminding me of that. As I looked into the eyes of each auditioner this past weekend, I was compelled. You have my respect and admiration, for following this path.
