I should be America's Next Hot Movie star because it has been my dream for as long as I can remember. I won the "Best Actress" award last year in my drama class, for the part of Amanda Chickenwing, in the play "Murder in the Magnolias". I was the lead, and the class voted. I also won the "Technical Excellence" award for picking up the slack when a stage manager fell through on another play called "Come Blow Your Horn", also voted for by the class. I am a member of the Thespian Society. I started out last year with eleven points, and ended the year with sixty-two. I also got an award for helping out with another drama class that I wasn't in. The drama teacher, Mr. Lamanda, himself awarded me that. I was also involved in Barbizon Acting and Modeling Agency, and took an eight week acting course under the instruction of Marchelle Scarnier. I am very dedicated, and also persistant. I am one of those "never give up" type people. I put my all into everything I do. Acting is my...everything. Its not a hobby, a pastime, a time-waster. To me, it is a way of life. I don't know what my world would be without acting. It the one thing in this crazy world that always makes sense to me. I feel confident when I step onto a stage. It is my passion. There isn't anything else that can make me as happy as acting has. If I am stressed out, sad, happy, angry, it all goes away as soon as I am on stage. It is one of those feelings you can't describe, like the smell of the rain or the look of a rose. It is my world, my life. If I am chosen for this role, it will be the dream I have been waiting to achieve since I was four years old. If I am selected, it will be the answer to my every prayer. If I am lucky enough to be in this movie, I will have achieved my biggest dream. Even if I lose this competition, I will never give up. This is what I have been waiting for.
